FAQ
Helpful answers before you buy or book.
The valve seat inside the tap may be worn or pitted, so a new washer cannot seal. In that case we repair the seat or replace the tap body or cartridge.
Most do, but hole size, sink thickness and hose length matter. Send us the model or photos before you buy and we will tell you if it fits, or what adaptors may be needed.
Not necessarily. A blocked inlet filter, a faulty cartridge or a reversed or kinked hose is often the cause. We check each before suggesting a replacement.
It depends on the brand and your water usage, so follow the manufacturer's schedule. If flow drops or taste changes earlier, the cartridge may be exhausted. We can replace it and flush the system properly.
It can be. Common causes are cross-threaded fittings, missing sealing tape or O-rings, and an over-tightened housing. We reseat the parts and test under pressure to confirm the leak is gone.
If other taps run normally, the aerator or the tap's inlet screen is usually clogged with debris. We clean or replace them, which often restores flow without replacing the whole tap.
Pricing depends on the tap or filter type and the existing connections. You know the cost before we start.
